As usual we woke up early and ate our breakfast.
After breakfast we immediately boarded the coach and rode off to the Sydney Tower. When we got to the tower we first
watched a video about australian culture. It was interesting because the
video was in a room that had seats that rotated to see the screens with mini holographic people.
After we went through the video room we went on up th elevator and we embraced the 360 view of Sydney. It was amazing to see
the huge harbor and the rest of the city. It felt weird looking down with binoculars at all the people walking. If you looked
close enough you could even see faces, and yet they had no idea that we were watching them. I felt this ominous feeling of
greatness but was pulled back to earth when it occured to me that i had not even started to souveneir shop for my family so
I immediately stormed into the gift shop in search for the perfect gifts. Luckily for me this was the ultimate opportunity
to get rid of all of my Australian money.
After soaking up the view we rode
the elevator down the tower and ran off to the bus. Our next stop was the Sydney Opera House. When we arrived at the opera
house we learned all about the history of the place. We also got a private tour of all of the exclusive parts of the Opera
House off limits to the regular tour. To me the most fascinating part was seeing the giant organ. I only got to see the pipes
but I was impressed. After the tour we rode over to the Cricket grounds. Here, we took a tour of the grounds and learned how
to bowl the ball. After the tour was over we rode to the hotel where we hung out until dinner. Dinner that night was
awesome because we were able to ride a bout around the harbor and soak in the view of the night life. We even rode under the
Sydney Bridge. After that eventful day I fell asleep happy and full.
